Yandex Geo services make urban life easier by helping people navigate to wherever they want to go in a city. We are Yandex Maps API team. We provide different set of Geo tech based APIs and SDK to B2B clients. Our goal is to help businesses better search, plan the routes and navigate in the online and offline world. We work worldwide and now have a clients in many countries and many industries – e-com, telecom, e-grocery, delivery, banks, classifieds.

We grow rapidly and we are looking for experienced Customer Solutions / Tech Presale Manager to support our growth in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and GCC countries.

Position based in Almaty, Kazakhstan with possible business trips to other countries.

Responsibilities

  • Deep dive into our clients’ operational needs for better understanding and to better help them integrate our products.
  • Work close with business development managers to explain tech details of the deal.
  • Provide a consultation to our clients to meet best their requirements.
  • Collect a feature request and get feedback from customers in order to improve our products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience as a pre-sales manager or customer solution manager.
  • Experience working with geo services from different vendors (Google, Here, Mapbox, etc.)
  • Understanding of basic technical tools (API, able to call API requests from any tool, basic SQL) and readiness to quickly learn a new ones.
  • Project & product management experience, you need to communicate with different types of people: product managers, developers, analysts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.

Preferred qualifications

  • Understanding of mobile development process in architecture level.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to structure information and processes, as well as express goals and results in measurable terms, experience in consulting is appreciated.
  • Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences, engaging C-Level stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Russian and/or Kazakh languages.
