Job Responsibilities include:
Role Description: The Procurement specialist is responsible for purchasing activities of the whole organization and has to ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality in accordance with the School policy. The procurement specialist deals with all the paperwork related to purchases and logistics of the whole school. The procurement specialist has to evaluate supply options, get purchases approvals and maintain accurate records.
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, and the legislation acts.
- To coordinate and supervise the daily tasks of the school driver-delivery man;
- To represent a line manager in meetings and conferences and other affairs of an administrative nature.
- To lead supplier negotiations ensuring value for money outcomes.
- To help to identify and act on opportunities for cost savings and mitigate risk within the supply base.
- To be part of driving positive change as part of the procurement transformation plan, supporting and often leading specific improvement initiatives.
- To follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- To review, compare, analyze and approve products and services to be purchased.
- To managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- To maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- To research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
- To maintain sanitation and safety standards as specified in the brand guidelines;
- To check invoice on goods received against shipment to ensure quantity, quality, weights and purchase specifications are as ordered;
- To prepare contracts with suppliers in accordance with Kazakhstan legislation;
- To monitor contracts for compliance with terms of validity, legitimacy and relevance;
- To liaise with the customs for customs clearance of goods and products, when necessary;
- To assist in receiving and inspecting all deliveries;
- To ensure accurate administration of all invoices, and adherence to proper bookkeeping procedures;
- To demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes;
- To arrange a claim procedure with manufacturers and suppliers, if they violate the contractual obligations, control the settlement of these claims.
- To keep up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to the job;
- To submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines;
- To ensure profits and losses are documented accurately;
- To achieve and exceed goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.;
- To provide information to line managers, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person;
- To analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems;
- To interact with academic staff, budget holders and SLT;
- To inform and/or update SLT, the colleagues and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner;
- To complies with Kazakh laws applying to operations procedures;
- To perform any other job duties as assigned by General Director to meet business needs.

Requirements :
- Knowledge of legislative acts, resolutions, orders, guidelines, methodological and regulatory materials on the organization of accounting, liabilities and business transactions and the report preparation, basic knowledge;
- Knowledge of normative legal acts, methodological materials on planning, accounting and analysis of the School activities;
- Managing document workflow in the accounting system;
- Understanding the procedure for document workflow and reflecting transactions in the business accounts relating to the transaction of fixed assets, inventory;
- Understanding the procedure for concluding contracts with suppliers and monitoring their implementation, as well as the payment procedure under these contracts;
- Knowledge of the methods of economic analysis and financial activities of the School;
- Knowledge of the rules and methods of suppliers service management;
- Knowledge of the customs clearance rules of goods and products in accordance with the Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Awareness of the main legislative aspects in the preparation of contracts with suppliers in accordance with international and Kazakhstan legislation;
- Awareness of the safety rules, industrial sanitation and hygiene, fire safety, civil defense;

Qualifications & Experience requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a purchasing officer or equivalent job;
- Experience working in an international companies will be beneficial.
- Bachelor and/or Master degree in Finance / Legal or related major;
- English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.0 and above
