JOB TITLE:

- Commissioning and Support engineer

OBJECTIVES:

- High-quality and efficient technical customer support —
- Installation and commissioning of systems on site
AREAS OF DUTIES::
- Helping customers solve technical issues with their Axess systems
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of system problems of the hardware and / or software
- Talking clients through a series of actions, either face to face, over the telephone or by remote system, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Support customers with operational questions with our systems (User support), including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems
- Installation, configuration and commissioning hardware, operating systems and application software

- Replacing parts as required —

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completed technical education/technical knowledge in mechanics/electrics/electronics/IT
- Solid knowledge of the technical fundamentals of the Internet/Internet protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP & HTTP
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as traceroute, ping and dig.
- Knowledge of Win OS, Networks, Database systems and SQL
- Communication skills and social skills – self-management and conflict management abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and teach others
- Ability to establish good working relationship with customers and other professionals
- Motivation to solve problems, support others and share knowledge with international colleagues
- Ability to work with a geographically dispersed organization
- Excellent knowledge of English language in spoken and written (fluent)
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Position requires 10% of travel
- Technical Support Engineers are required to be on-call on a rotating basis throughout the year
