DWDM Product manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated DWDM Engineer to join our team. The DWDM Engineer will be responsible for the development, management, and marketing of DWDM products. This role requires a deep understanding of DWDM technology, market trends, and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing technical products from concept to launch and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop and maintain the DWDM product roadmap in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and value proposition.

• Product Development:

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to drive product development.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products through effective project management.

• Product Marketing:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new products.
  • Create marketing materials, including product documentation, presentations, and sales tools.
  • Conduct training sessions for sales and customer support teams.

• Customer Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding DWDM products.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and innovations.
  • Support sales teams in customer meetings and presentations.

• Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor product performance, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze product metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed to achieve product goals.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of managing DWDM or related optical networking products.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.

• Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of DWDM technology and optical networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
