• participation in coaching, training and mentoring of staff members of the piping group; • assistance in the development and implementation of administrative and engineering methods of conducting work on piping systems, specifications and procedures; • reporting on the status of piping works and technical documentation to the chief engineer; • development of all required documentation for the appointed project; • attending the kick-off meetings, meetings with the participation of personnel involved in projects, with clients, constructors, suppliers, attending the meetings to consider P&ID; • information interchange, both in written and verbal forms, in the engineering group of piping and with other engineering departments; • coordination of the design activities of the piping group with engineering groups of other disciplines; • identification of deviations from the scope of work and changes in the estimated cost; • reception and distribution of design instructions related to the requirements for design plants; • review and approval of piping engineers project drawings; • submission of piping engineers project drawings to a chief engineer for issue; • ensuring quality control on the appointed project; • if it's necessary, replacement of the piping chief engineer during his absence; • creation of project drawings with the help of CAD or by hand with the application of the regulations and standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the design, as well as other foreign regulation and standards agreed with the client; • review of engineering documentation and detailed drawings; • performance and verification of design calculations; • control and justification of the progress of work performed by relevant resources within a given budget; • implementation of Authorial Supervision; • monitoring of self-disciplinary and interdisciplinary audits of issued documents within the framework of appointed projects.
