 Issue punch lists for various disciplines and ensure the items are closed after the punch points are completed.  Report to the supervisors for any kinds of updates in project completions system.  Monitor and control inspection of tie ins for all subsystems for the project work before start-up activity activity.  Supervise and monitor all activities for the flushing/blowing, leak tests, inerting, etc for the systems before the start up of the plant.  Monitor inspection of reinstatement related to instrument and mechanical systems to check for their final OK status.  Ensure that all safety isolations are in place for all lines for beings in a state of readiness for any future project work for example pad locking and spading etc.  Checking on the running status on all mechanical equipments for example blowers, pumps ensuring proper and safe functioning.  Test all logics and instruments and ensure that the minimal optimum requirements for the smooth functioning of instruments are in place.  Ensure the smooth and trouble free running of machines as per the vendor data sheet specifications.  Prepare and submit the “As Built” drawings for review by the supervisor.  Facilitate the OTP (Operating Test Procedures) run as have been specified by the supervisor  Supervise the field housekeeping activities before commissioning of the plant.  Carry out any other duties as and when directed by the supervisor Other responsibilities:  Performing the necessary activities during start-up, shutdown and emergency according to the instructions of the Sulphur Plant Supervisor  Maintain control of the process in accordance with reglament and procedures, senior operator and board operator instructions.  Demonstrate the proper procedure in the shutdown and isolation for maintenance of any control valve or piece of equipment in the area of responsibility using the procedure.  Process theory, mechanism, operating principles and designation of all process equipment (vessels, column, reactor, reaction furnace, boiler, pumps, compressor, combustion air blower, air coolers, ventilation systems). Equipment start up, switching to stand by mode and removal from service for repair guidelines. Safe Operation Procedures.  Monitoring as per Sulphur Plant Supervisor instructions all maintenance works, repair or preventative measures as deemed necessary.  Product analytical control schedule. Final Product specifications. Sampling Points and Sampling Safety.  Preparatory work for maintenance of equipment, vessels, piping and machinery and restoration on job completion.  Verifying that all maintenance work carried out in the Sulphur Plant is performed according to PTW instructions Maintains approved operational documents, keeps equipment and inventory in the proper condition.  Checking the condition of emergency BA installed in the area of operation and inside SIS, SR and TSR.  Checking the running & stand-by equipment/machinery condition (pumps, air coolers, HVAC System, etc…) for any relevant and observable running features of rotating equipment (vibration, bearings external temperature, lubricating oil level, unusual noise etc.) and its start-up readiness if required, and identifying possible anomalies  Service the working place, carry out proper equipment and devices service, pumps lubrication, on-time detection of failures and their elimination; carry out minor mechanical repair;  Checking routinely for leakages from flanges/piping, instrumentation, machinery and equipment identifying and reporting any anomalies to Sulphur Plant Senior Operator or Sulphur Plant Supervisor.  Checks integrity and physical conditions of any equipment (corrosion, faults, cracks, splits, grounding connections etc.)  Taking appropriate action in case of alarm and/or emergency following AKCO procedures and supporting site instructions  Supporting the activities of the other Plant Operators in case of local contingencies, increased workloads and emergency conditions  Assisting the Emergency Rescue Service (ERS) in emergency response at units and rescue of injured persons as well as in gas hazardous works under supervision of Gas Rescue Team personnel  Know the following subsystems:  Safety Instructions, gas/fire hazard protection instructions.  Gas analyzer system, fire-protection system.  Utilities supply system.  First aid treatment in case of electric shock, intoxication, thermal shock.  All instructions/procedures related to his responsibilities
