Managing non-producing operational offshore entity in collaboration with the state. Lead role for the company in the new entrance key country which includes main representative’s responsibilities starting from the office registration and opening, hiring and supervising staff, setting up policies and procedures, account opening, functional and operational working strategies, plan and manage company’s budget, establishing stakeholders relations with the exploration JV partners including NOC and IOC, oversee operational activities of the project, explore new upstream opportunities. Additionally to act as the main representative for the whole group on the portfolio businesses and for the companies where company has share.

Ensured development and presence of the local content suppliers in each procurement and contract within the organization as one of the multiple partner-companies. Conducted and provided market intelligence on Kazakhstan supplier capability and capacity for various work packages. Provided analytical expert assessment on real estate investments, investment management, fund management, advisory and investment projects such as mining, construction, oil and gas in the emerging markets for this leading bank in Iceland. Evaluated projects’ investment returns via finance modelling and other assessment tools and data.

Responsible for developing the overseas and local business contacts and opportunities; project executive and full coordination of the international conferences; research on social, economics and demographic issues, writing, editing, graphic design, preparation and completion of deliverables for the bid tenders and following projects: Master Plan and Assessment of Infrastructure requirements for the Development of the Kazakhstan Sector of the Caspian Shelf Worked as a part of six members research team, over a period of 8 months. Research studies for site identification and facilities optimisation over the entire length of the Kazakhstan Sector of the Caspian Shelf to form an integral part of the Offshore Oil and Gas Complex Plan until the year 2015 for a major national oil company. Collected empirical data, compile, translate and complete reports on the various tasks of the project such as precedent studies on BP’s work in Guneshli-Azeri and Shakh Deniz Field Developments and the North Sea experience, analysis of constraints and opportunities. Onshore and Offshore Infrastructure Development Study Study of Facilities requirements at the Extraction and Production stages of Oil & Gas in Kazakhstan, prediction until the year 2015.Project cost is about USD 1mln prepared for the national company. Demographic analysis, planning and community implications, housing/accommodation needs estimation, economic assessment, development proposals for the Tyup-Karaganski Bay, project cost appraisal. Onshore Facilities Site Optimisation Study Study of Early Oil Development requirements in the North Caspian Sea conducted for the one of the major operators in the region, overall value of the project is more than USD500,000. Examine constraints of the North East Caspian such as shallow water depths, ecological sensitivity and severe winter conditions (ice formation);gather, analyse and translate Kazakh national statistical, demographical and economical data and documents; identify information related with the major functional components such as marine support base, rock loading facility, waste treatment facility and barge assembly yard in order to minimise duplication of infrastructure and to propose their locations integrated into logistics to all operations. Report was integrated into the plan for the development of the Kashagan Field. Assessment of Kazakhstan Higher Educational and Training Institutions for the Oil & Gas Industry Educational Study for the Kazakhstan Higher Educational Establishments to comply with international standards conducted for the Offshore Kazakhstan International Operating Company. Project value is GBP120,000 and examine the education system of the country and particularly educational institutions, training centres and colleges related to the Oil and Gas field. Collect, evaluate, compile and translate data related to the study. International Working Conference on Actual Problems and Strategic Solutions in Higher Education and Training of Personnel for the Oil and Gas Sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan Responsible for the coordination of the project. Overall conference budget is about USD86,711. Prepared and signed the contract with the local partner during the business trip which brought to company more than USD21,000 of the cash flow. Developed contacts with the management of the major oil and gas companies invited to the event, worked closely with the Kazakh and British authorities such as Department of Trade and Industry UK, develop the design of the programme, accomplish all necessary graphic works, compile materials, send invitation letters to participants, develop sponsorship programme, translate documents. Other work and responsibilities include organisation of high mission visits by the Kazakh authorities to the UK, project proposal preparation and submission for the clients, leading oil and gas operators, and translation of documents into Russian/English/Turkish.
