- Providing pro bono consultations to civil society activists on issues of registration/re-registration of NGOs, taxation and reporting issues; - Development of comparative analyses and research papers in cooperation with NGOs; - Participation in advocacy campaigns aimed at improving regulation of NGO activities.

● Lead technical oversight, partner coordination, and implementation of activities under a designated program objective; ● Develop analysis, recommendations, and research regarding draft or enacted legislation; ● Work directly with technical experts to design baseline assessments, workshops, trainings, round tables, study tours, etc.; ● Prepare and organize meetings with partner organizations; ● Contribute to drafting of annual work plans; ● Collect and analyze program monitoring data and evaluation; ● Draft progress reports; ● Maintain professional relationships with international and donor organizations in the country to avoid duplicating activities and ensure effective cooperation; ● Support Chief of Party in conducting program outreach and communication; ● Participate in program-related meetings and events with beneficiaries as an official ABA ROLI representative.

• Assisted ICNL with legal reform efforts throughout Central Asia; • Conducted researches, the analysis and development of recommendations for state bodies about improvement of the legislation regulating activities of NGO; • Provided consultations and training on issues related to NGO legislation to civil society organizations, parliamentarians, government officials and other stakeholders; • Provided program management for ICNL’s program portfolio; • Prepared donor reports for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan – quarterly, annual reports, success stories, etc; • Advised the Head of the ICNL Representative Office and staff on various legal issues.

- Assisted ICNL with legal reform efforts in Kazakhstan under USAID-funded programs; - Conducted research, analyses, and recommendations on how to improve enacted or draft legislation relating to CSOs; - Monitored and gathered information on an ongoing basis regarding developments of legislation or draft legislation that affect CSO sector.

- Assisted Program Director in coordinating activities of ICNL CAR offices; - Prepared weekly and quarterly reports: - Organized various events; - Verbal and written translations; - Edited ICNL's publications.
