Fonet Er-Tai AK Mining LLP was established in Almaty in 2001. Today, the company employs over 1,000 people across Kazakhstan.

The company focuses on developing high quality mining assets with low execution and geological risk. Since its establishment, the company has developed lead-zinc, copper, and lead-silver deposits, as well as constructed a number of ore processing plants across Kazakhstan.

Currently, the company owns and operates Koskuduk gold deposit, Ayak-Kodzhan copper deposit, Priozersk and Aksuyek enrichment facilities.
